Anti-Larvicide Drone Spraying Over Flooded Areas of the Yamuna River

How Aerocarrier Innovation deployed a compact spraying drone system with a DGCA-certified pilot for a 10–12 day public-health operation across multiple Delhi locations near the Yamuna River.

Inauguration of Aerocarrier Innovation drone deployment for anti-larvicide spraying project in Delhi

Quick Answer

What was the Yamuna project? In September 2025, Aerocarrier Innovation received its first B2B project for anti-larvicide spraying over flooded areas near the Yamuna River in Delhi. The 10–12 day deployment was undertaken for the MCD project through DFM across multiple locations. Aerocarrier deployed the drone system and equipment with a DGCA-certified pilot and provided the technical and operational support required to keep the operations running smoothly.

The Project Opportunity

September 2025 marked an important milestone for Aerocarrier Innovation. We received our first B2B project to support anti-larvicide spraying over flooded areas of the Yamuna River in Delhi. It was also our first opportunity to work on an MCD project, delivered through DFM.

The operation ran for approximately 10–12 days and moved across different locations near the Yamuna River. Because the work involved flooded and waterlogged areas, the deployment required a field-ready drone system, reliable support and an operating team capable of keeping the aircraft available across changing sites.

What Aerocarrier Was Responsible For

Our role was not limited to handing over a drone. Aerocarrier was responsible for deploying the drone and its operating system with the required equipment and a DGCA-certified pilot, while continuously supporting the deployment so the field operation could run smoothly.

  • Deployment of the spraying drone platform and supporting equipment.
  • DGCA-certified pilot for flight operations.
  • Technical support related to the drone system throughout the project.
  • Backend and operational support to maintain deployment continuity.
  • Coordination around the drone-related requirements as operations moved between locations.

This project reflects the model behind our Drone Rental Solution: a B2B customer can engage Aerocarrier for the required drone capability as part of a project or contract instead of managing the complete aircraft, pilot and technical ecosystem separately.

Why the Compact AgriFly S10 Platform Helped

One of the positive observations during the project was the compact size of our spraying platform. Compared with larger agricultural spraying aircraft, the system was easier to handle and deploy while still delivering the performance needed for the operation.

The project stakeholders responded positively to the drone's small and compact form factor and its field performance. For us, this was meaningful validation because compactness, portability and practical field operation were among the problems we had intentionally worked on while developing AgriFly S10.

Field Operations Across Yamuna Locations

The project was not a single-location demonstration. The team operated across multiple sites in Delhi near the Yamuna River over the 10–12 day period. That required repeated deployment, system preparation, pilot coordination and technical readiness as the work progressed.

What This Project Validated for Aerocarrier

The Yamuna deployment was a transition point for Aerocarrier—from product validation and agricultural spraying services into a formal B2B project environment. It tested not only the aircraft but also our ability to support a customer requirement with equipment, pilots, technical assistance and backend coordination over several days and locations.

It reinforced our core approach: a drone solution should be designed around the application and the operating environment. The aircraft is one part of the solution; deployment readiness, pilot capability, technical support and field coordination determine whether a project can run reliably.

Where We Take This Capability Next

The same project-based approach can be configured for other applications such as agriculture spraying, public-health spraying, surveillance, mapping, inspection, cleaning and other specialized drone requirements—subject to technical feasibility and the contract scope.

Organizations that need drone capability for a specific duration or project can use Aerocarrier's B2B Drone Rental Solution with the deployment level configured around their actual requirement.

Frequently Asked Questions

When did the Yamuna River anti-larvicide project take place?

The project began in September 2025 and ran for approximately 10–12 days across different locations in Delhi near the Yamuna River.

Who was the project for?

Aerocarrier worked on the MCD project through DFM. It was our first B2B project and first opportunity to support an MCD-related drone operation.

What did Aerocarrier deploy?

We deployed the drone system and supporting equipment with a DGCA-certified pilot, along with technical and backend operational support throughout the project.

Does Aerocarrier provide complete project-based drone solutions?

Yes. Depending on the contract, Aerocarrier can provide drone equipment, pilot support, technical assistance and backend support as part of a complete B2B deployment.
